About me
Hi :) My name is Caroline. I’m 22. I have a bachelor degree in social work, and I have a full time job as a social worker. I live in Oslo, the capital city of Norway. Norway is a pretty awesome country to live in, except our eight months of winter. Seriously. I don’t even like snow. Instead I like sunshine. Sunshine makes me happy. I also like laughing so much that my stomach hurts, and I can’t breathe properly. I like buying new shoes. I like to collect pretty pictures. I like British fashion magazines. I like to sing along at concerts. I like driving to Denmark, once a year, with all my friends, for a week of getting too drunk and staying up too late at the Roskilde music festival. I like to scream a long to songs I (think I) know. I like to take pictures at parties, but I don’t like other people taking pictures of me. I like to sleep, but I hate going to bed and I hate waking up. I like to read and learn about history. I’m weirdly fascinated by abandoned buildings. I like to watch Skins. And Lost (still in denial about that ending). I’m a bit obsessed with Effy/Cook and Sawyer/Kate (I obviously like them complicated and dysfunctional - as a child my favourite movie was Beauty and the beast). I like reading. A lot. I like to eat. A lot. I hate to run. Bad combination that is. I can’t stand silence, so I’ll always leave the tv on. I hate it when it rains. And I hate freezing. I hate having to wait for things. And I hate pretty much everything that’s healthy to eat.
I use my tumblr to post anything and everything I feel inspired by : pictures of Paris, James Dean, fashion editorials, bare skin and hands that are reaching, Marilyn Monroe, ballet, Audrey Hepburn, fluffy bunnies, bows and ribbons, pretty light, beautiful quotes, shoes and bags I wish I owned, Birgitte Bardot, gifs and fanart from my favorite tv-shows and movies, plus lots more.
Favourite movies include (but are not limited to): This is England, Almost Famous, Fight Club, Crash, Leon, “The man who loved Yngve” (Mannen som elsket Yngve - a norwegian movie), Mean Girls, Mary and Max, The Breakfast Club, Where the wild things are and American history X.
Favourite music include : Damien Rice, Radiohead, Lana Del Rey, Mumford and Sons, Red hot chilli peppers, Coldplay, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Bloc Party, Arctic monkeys, Metallica, Kings of Leon, The Killers, Florence + the machine, Placebo and Mew.
Favourite tv-shows : Skins, Lost, Dexter, Shameless US, The Walking Dead, In Treatment, Misfits, True Blood, Greys anatomy, Gossip Girl, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Prison Break and The O.C.
